Jeff Marchelletta

Jeff's range of experience developed from a combination of working in the world of corporate management, pursuing the performing arts as a working actor and navigating the indie film maze of Hollywood as a producer. After several successful years working in NYC, Jeff made the move to Los Angeles to further his multi-faceted career in entertainment.

Jeff has produced a variety of projects including features, documentaries, theater, music videos and more. Between 2003 and 2005, Jeff produced Ringers: Lord of the Fans, narrated by Dominic Monaghan (Lost, Lord of the Rings trilogy), and won the Outstanding Achievement Award in Filmmaking at the 2005 Newport Beach Film festival. Ringers was released worldwide by Sony Pictures and received a 2006 Saturn Award Nomination. In 2010 Jeff produced and directed a music video Shake That released in 2011 for a Grammy Listed indie artist. Also in 2011 Jeff executive produced Without, an award winning narrative feature written and directed by Mark Jackson (War Story) which took the international film festival circuit by storm, winning jury prizes at such major festivals as Thessaloniki, Mar Del Plata, Hamptons, and Florida, in addition to being singled out at Chicago, London BFI, Locarno, and Deauville. Without received stellar reviews in publications such as Variety, IndieWire and Filmmaker Magazine and was also nominated for a Gotham Award and is a recipient of a 2012 Indie Spirit Award. In 2012 and 2013 Jeff produced This Last Lonely Place written and directed by Steve Anderson (The Big Empty, Fu*k) starring Rhys Coiro (Entourage), Xander Berkeley (Salem, Taken) and Carly Pope (Elysium) which had a successful Kickstarter campaign and won the Special Jury Prize for Cinematography at the 2014 Newport Beach Film Festival. Jeff also executive produced Uncertain Terms a critically acclaimed feature written and directed by Nathan Silver (Soft in the Head) that premiered at the 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival and had its international premiere at the 2014 Edinburgh Film Festival where it received a Best International Feature Film Nomination. Uncertain Terms is making the film festival circuit screening at Deauville, Munich, Stockholm, Sao Paulo Brazil, Mill Valley, Woodstock and others. Jeff most recently produced The White Orchid which is currently in post starring Olivia Thirlby (June, Dredd), Jennifer Beals (The Book of Eli, The L Word), John Carroll Lynch (Shutter Island, American Horror Story), Nichelle Nicols (Star Trek) and others.

As an actor and producer, Jeff’s passion is great story telling. Some of his acting credits include Drop Dead Diva, Criminal Minds, Las Vegas and variety of award-winning independent films. Jeff studied script analysis for many years in both NYC and LA with such renowned teachers as New York Times bestselling author Larry Moss, whom he still studies with today. Jeff currently has a few character-driven film projects in development.
